Handmade by the people of Bolgatanga in Ghana, this wonderful “African U-Shopper Long Handle – Basket Bag” is woven from Elephant Grass and coloured with natural dyes (plant and mineral).

Elephant grass is named for its extreme strength and flexibility and coupled with the leather handle, you really cant go wrong as a carry all for the beach, or feel like the most stylish shopper.

Each African Basket Bag is individually handmade so have their own quirks and there are some slight variances between each basket which may vary slightly from the baskets shown here.
