This Handira Wedding Blanket – “Angel Kisses” 115x200cm, is a vintage darling, thats been handloomed with pure wool and cotton, and absolute love.

Originally made to be worn as a cape by the bride and woven for her by the women of her family.  Woven with “Baraka” or special blessings of good will. Each precious Handira is a unique one of a kind because of these blessings woven into the inner Berber bands of the blanket. Making this beautiful wedding blanket perfect for a queen or king bed, or even to lay over a sofa for that quintessential touch of vintage comfort, charm and to carry with it those wonderful gifts of goodwill.

Its becoming increasingly rare to find immaculate condition Handira’s or Moroccan Wedding Blankets, and whilst this sweet blanket shows some signs of her age with slight discolouration, she is in beautiful condition and estimated to be at 30 to 40 years of age.
