Vintage Berber Pot B

This Vintage Berber Pottery – “B” Large 49cm x26cm, has an earthiness, yet classic style that is unique to each piece in this collection. Handmade in Morocco, each piece has been handpainted using natural dye pigments such as vegetable dyes and henna to adorn with motifs and patterns, that are unmistakably Berber.

With a creamy caramel toned base and chocolate patterning, the neutral tones blend beautifully within any interior space. Group together with other similar vintage pieces or this piece is large enough to use as a stand alone focal piece. Versatile, each piece tells a story of Berber village life from times gone by through the hand crafted work of the artisan.

SIZE: Approximate size is 49cm H x 26cm at the widest point (including handles).

MATERIAL: Unglazed Terracotta Pottery.  Due to the handmade and vintage nature of this pottery, it may include some small indelible holes, cracks and chips which are an effect of the age and crafting process and are considered part of the artisan individuality of each pottery piece.
